Daniel lives in Los Angeles, CA, with his wife. Originally from Brazil, he has been working professionally in Broadcast and Advertising Design since 2006. He has freelanced at distinguished companies in the US such as Imaginary Forces, Blur Studio, StarDust and others. Daniel is currently a Designer/Animator at Buck, an award-winning studio that specializes in Advertising, Entertainment, Design and Animation.
Her work has been featured in Wine After Coffee, Creative Quarterly and WeTransfer.
She also currently teaches Digital Animation at IED Design School in Turin.
Her interest spans from design to technology, with a deep passion for what’s next in both fields: her trust on the future relies on Artificial Intelligences, nordic stationery and looped set design gifs.
With 20 years experience at the BBC, her work has been seen and enjoyed by millions of viewers worldwide.
She has also carved a career as a freelancer, working with exciting clients and projects from documentaries to programme brands.
She is hugely passionate about storytelling and the moving image and always embracing new skills while enhancing those she already has.
Sophia is a full voting member at BAFTA and an active PromaxBDA member where she was recently invited to judge the PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards.
A filmmaker on the side, Edgar’s narrative works have been recognized by international film festivals in New York, London and Seoul. He was creative producer on TIFF-alumnus Ken Kwek’s “Sex.Violence.FamilyValues” (2013) — a collection of satirical shorts that was originally (and controversially) banned in Singapore.
In 2013, he co-directed “I Hugged The Berlin Patient”, an acclaimed documentary about his spontaneous search for the first person cured of HIV. It is the first Singapore documentary to secure worldwide release on iTunes.
Living in Buenos Aires he had the opportunity to work with several studios where he shared and learned with some of the most talented professionals of this field in Latin America.
At the present, Ralph works as Creative Director at Le Cube, an Award-winning animation-production company where he’s a partner and founder.
In the last years, he’s been working and living between Brazil and Argentina, directing animated films for several countries in North and Latin America, Europe and Middle East, doing projects for advertising and TV broadcast.
Since then we have always been true to ourselves, we always say that our goal is to take pleasure in our work , with passionate and talented people we love, as for the clients we put a huge point to work closely with them, and make them part of the family.
We are growing slowly, and I can say that we never get such a strong team.
During the past 10 years, we evolve ,through the technologie but also through developing internally new skills, motion, 3d, directing.
We want to stay as a studio we are not an agency, we are craftsmanship, and this in our dna.
After Graduating in Visual Communication at Wolverhampton University, UK. He started out in the industry by working on innovative projects such as Warp TV, an inspiring concept to bring streaming TV to the web back in 2000.
Now almost 20 years on, he is a multi award winning designer and head of Creative for a leading global broadcaster based in Qatar, where he has made his home for the past 11 years.
