Entrants around the World
The call for receptions will be open from 1st October to 31 st December 2012. All works submitted after this date will be out of competition.
Note: Deadlines may be subject to changes.
PIECES REQUIREMENTS
Format: only video. The link must be on Vimeo.
Resolution: 1024x576 (recommended)
Each subcategory requires the fulfillment of certain specific criteria. Therefore, it is compulsory to meet the requirements before registering a piece.
PROCEDURE
The registration of the pieces can only be done online through www.bassawards.org.
Participants can log in and out whenever they want to check the status of their (s) submission (s).
- Create an account.
Online registration available on www.bassawards.org.
Choose REGISTER and fill in the contact form for the Submitting data person. You will receive a confirmation email with your password.
- Prepare each entry before summiting.
Each submission must fill one application form that has to contain this information:
• Short description (max.300 characters)
• Client (Name of School for Best Young Talent)
• Category Link to the piece (mandatory to be online on Vimeo)
• No reels will be accepted
• No pieces containing watermarks and / or references to their author / authors, agency or school / college will be accepted.
The registration of the pieces can only be done online through www.bassawards.org.
Participants can log in and out whenever they want to check the status of their submission (s).
- Fill each entry on your profile.
Log in with you username and your password. Enter all the necessary information to SUBMIT MY PIECES.
Notes:
• Registered pieces should not include watermarks of any kind, or references of the author or the agency or school / college.
• Submitters declare that they are the owners of their designs or have the right for their use and no rights of third parties will be infringed by the acceptation of these bases.
• Submitters also agree to relieve BassAwards of all responsibility with respect to any claims whatsoever, including but not limited to copyright claims that may be made against it by reason of any such presentation.
• All the pieces must have been made within the context of a normal paying contract with a client, except Best Social categories and Best Young Talent. The client must have paid for all, or half the majority of the costs.
• You cannot appear in any message or content part which has been declared illegal by the courts or advertising self-regulatory bodies. If in the course of the competition a judgment that is the participant’s responsibility should be issued, this situation should be notified to the BassAwards organization.
• BassAwards will disqualify the corresponding parts if it transpires that the information provided in the registration process is false or has not met the requirements of these rules.
• Items submitted for judging in more than one category must be individually entered in each subcategory and have to be paid for individually as different entries.
• To enroll pieces off registration deadlines set for each category automatically makes them not eligible.
• In the event that several companies present the same piece, if it is awarded, the prize will be given to the entry that came first.
• Participation in BassAwards implies full acceptance of the rules. Non-compliance with any of the competition rules results in an entry's automatic disqualification.
Check and re-check the credits you have entered. If you are shortlisted or a winner, these credits will be publish in our website exactly as you have typed them. Any amendments or addition to credits made after 31th December 2012 will incur costs.
- Pay the registration fee.
Make payment by credit card or choose bank transfer.
Choose whether to pay in Euros or in US$. The entry fee for each currency is 80€ or 100 US$.
The registration of a piece in more than one category is permitted, but each of the entries must be paid for.
Best Social and Best Young Talent categories are free.
- Credit Card
Each entry has to pay the fee. You may pay for your entries online using PayPal, a safe payment platform renowned worldwide that protects your privacy.
With PayPal, pieces have to be paid individually.
- Bank Transfer
The Bank Transfer option could be done in € or in US$. You will receive all the necessary information for the transfer in your profile.
Through Bank Transfer, people may pay all the pieces recorded in a single operation, indicating the title of each entry.
Pieces submitted and paid by Bank transfer will not be judged if full payment is not received by 15 January 2013.
It is essential to send the transfer copy to admin@bassawards.org.
Price in €: 80 € per entry
Price in US$: 100 US$ per entry
Notes:
- No Registration will be valid if not paid for before the closing date for registration of pieces. Once entries have been submitted, the paid fees are non-refundable for any reason.
- No extra fees will be requested when an award is won.
- No extra bank charges will be requested by BassAwards during the payment process.
- In case of deadline extensions, no late fee will be requested.
5. Verification of pieces submitted.
No entries sent after 31 st December , 2012 will be accepted.
You will receive a confirmation email. Moreover, the successful transaction will be appearing in your profile on www.bassawards.org. Your submission is not complete until BassAwards receive your payment.

Notes:
- All Bank transfers should send proof of payment before 31 December. If the 15 January 2013 the transaction has not been effective, the operation will not be held valid by the BassAwards organization, excluded the piece from the contest. No registration fees will be refunded under any circumstances. BassAwards request full client details and reserves the right to contact the client directly to clarify or confirm any information relating to the entry.
- By submitting work and paying the corresponding entry fees, submitters authorise BassAwards to use and exhibit the submitted entries, in whole or in part, in any way, time or place that BassAwards considers adequate, with no limitation.
- BassAwards may contact the client related to any entry at the request of the jury at any time during the voting process should any questions about the implementation or presentation of the work arise.
- The organizers reserve the right to request the issuance of a certificate of the submitted piece. Supporting documents must be issued by the corresponding means or by the advertiser.
• The winners of the Best Young Talent category will be required to have proof of studying their final year in 2012.

- Professional Categories
Winners will be announced around February 2013 on www.bassawards.org.
- Best Social y Best Young Talent
Winners will be announced around November 2012 on www.bassawards.org.
TROPHIES & CERTIFICATES
Trophies of all categories -Best Social and Best Young Talent included- will be sent around Mars 2013.Winners will receive the certificates and labels within one month after the publication of the results by category.
Notes:
- All winners will be contacted individually. Awarded pieces and winners will be included in related advertising and promotional materials.
- All this information will be on the web. No request in this aspect will be answered.
- Deadlines may sustain changes. In the event of changes, BassAwards will communicate new deadlines on www.bassawards.org .
